Embrace The Nothing

By FearlessDragon

Balance lies in all creation
Creating the circle of duration
Duration is all by which we go

Futile are these...

Feeble attempts in search for inspiration
Inspiring only unoriginal agitation
Agitating the spirit of my flow

Discontent due to my lack of moderation
Moderation in patience leads to hesitation
Hesitating my progress to a slow

Seeking joy in immediate sensation
Senses contradict their simplistic intuition
Intuition lost has no eyes beyond the show

Knowledge too great causes vast confusion
Confusing the power of my volition
Volition misguided follows dead end roads

Lust for desire breeds manipulation
Manipulating action into procrastination
Procrastinating against its goal

Therefore...

Embrace the stillness of inaction
Inactive nature remains in motion
Motioning itself within the Tao

Mirror yourself in the moment,
Master the art of dying,
Embrace the nothing as your home

Love this poem it flows so increasingly like a build up to a climax. that last verses are great mirror yourself in the moment, master the art of dying, embrace the nothing as your home. to master the art of dying is something we all must do.

Is this Buddhist in its philosophy? Love the structure ..... last word of each line starting the next. Helped massively to create a chanting effect. X

Thank you sweets :) ...I based this heavily on my Taoist beliefs. Its about flowing with life in an unforced manner. Being as nature so to speak.
