Bloodlust

By FearlessDragon

This narcissistic lust I crave,
Dwells within my veins

Not hate nor despair
Tempts the blade,
To strip me bare

A rush for a sight,
My only fire to ignite

A feel unknown,
But seductive nonetheless,
Begs for this caress

Could it be an end to a mean?
A mere escape from the mundane?

A silent cry for damages unseen
Something deep burning within,
A simple plea for sympathy?

Perhaps, empowerment is it's game
A cure for things I cannot change

love the macabre of this piece
