Pastels paint the skyline,
The midnight backdrop illuminates ... Everything
These are the times I feel peace
Utterly and defiantly ... Complete
Moments that burn forever in my mind,
Are the ones most seemingly insignificant
Insecurities surpassed come flooding back,
Providing a glimpse of introspection
Emotions overwhelm without an aim,
Chaos boils into lucidity ... Tears fall
Perfect harmony forms from nothing,
This is all I need ... This is all I am
8 billion cannot make me feel this,
Yet, scrolling clouds against the moon
In this moment ... Become my catalyst
