~Breath-less~

By Deathkitten

Isn't it your favorite activity?
To breathe...
Our bodies respond
as air circulates
Is it so easy
to fill our lungs
to remember
to understand?
Are our thoughts accurate
or are they breath-less?
Are they conscious
when our chests cave in?
Processing the experience
while we associate it with
life...or something like it
as images accumulate
while we sit back & expect it
Expect to wake
because it's natural
A repetition
A little pattern
that we often take for granted
until we are breath-less
without succinct expressions
of feeling
again

The lungs breathe though we sleep, yet we can control them unlike our beating heart. Two different nervous systems for different reasons, as selective advantages in our evolution. Always enjoy a few good deep breaths on occasion to relieve tension, OHMMMMmmmmm, cheers!

Hah it can only relieve but so much tension. A good massage will take care of the rest :)

Sometimes we take for granted all the "little things" that have direct impact on our life... like breathing, without it we'd seize to exist. Well done, i enjoyed this xoxo
