Hung up ( edit)

By Stephanie Sideways

I got hung up
and I dried
with twisted perspective,

that I have to wear,
but hide.

On you, I drape desire
that pulls heavy on my fastenings. Synthetic and reflective.

A fabric that
can never
sit the same. It won't yield to the coaxing of any Iron will,

It's changed its shape forever

only waiting for that
burn, as it contorts the weave of integrity.
( A closet to unfill )

The creases come and go
but I got hung up and dried

funny, that I can lay aside a thing of ruin,
but still not something I can throw, only hide.

Cheers. It was a dufficult thing to express. How someone has such an effect on you that you wish they didn't but at the same time, you kinda like it a lot, so even though its a bit twisted and dare I say wrong, you can't throw it out even if you could. X

Musing on some old favorite clothes that no longer fit, but remembering when they did, and what once was. Marvelous Stephy - it gets easier as you get older, then the mind goes and each day you have an entirely new wardwrobe! Really enjoyed this bit of reflection, just superb!

As I said above, plus; I have a big heart and I love easily. Love is not in short supply and perpetuates . ( I should have long hair with flowers in it , but in fact, it is short) lol. PS I am waffling on....... PPS thank you both for reading my mind spills! X x x
