Ponder...
By FearlessDragon
Perpetual discomfort lies in my desire for the truth
Bitter anxiety creeps tonight, robbing me of sleep
I seek out constellations for solace from my griefs
What is dwells within this moment
While letting go goes unobtainable
What should be steals my eyes
While what was will never be again
It seems so simple to gain knowledge
Yet, blind emotions demolish all potential,
Love is but a misdirection in a world of confusion
Too afraid of our own shadows we eagerly give in,
The void of serenity stares me in the face
While i'm discontented looking at my feet,
Dissatisfied with all, lost within my own weaving web
I gaze up at the stars,
Still to ponder...

We are happy one moment, enjoying what we have and counting our small blessings. Then we catch ourselves wanting more, so take a deep breath and make you dreams surround you! X x You are such a deep thinker and I love your reflective poem.
