I Know The Monsters

By Kristoff

Some say that I have no sense
Some say I've lost my mind
Some say that all is good
They say that all is fine

Perhaps they can believe as such,
But no sir, not me
I fear the things that crawl in the dark
Just as it should be

I know the monsters, who you know
Want to eat my brains
The monsters who walk with a stumble
Who don't feel their pains

I know the monsters who love my blood
Who drink it day to day
They sleep all day and drink all night
Making people pay

I know the monsters who howl at night
Under the white full moon
They change and snarl and eat your dog
And then will eat you soon

All of these I know, and even more
Could wake you in the night
They could kill you in cold blood
So hold that pillow tight

Tonight when you are sleeping
Remember always, always do:

Remember when you're dreaming:

The dream is dreaming you...
