Beyond the Flames of Lust

By Alchemist

There radiance astounds me

So I pick my jaw up off the ground

And get my mind out the gutter

Still I want to rub them like two magic balls

And find out my future

If that is possible

I know in many ways it is

But with any good prophecy

We must start at the beginning

As much as a child needs to suckle

So does the young man need the tit to caress his being

And the old man just wants a soft breast to rest his tired head upon

To hear the heart beat underneath

And to know the woman there is more than just beauty and a name

She is flesh and bone that has shed blood

But through trials of mind and body she remains

By his side

And he feels lucky not only for the sex over the child bearing years

But to have a life to hold within his own

Against all odds hearts warm to the hearth

That is the fire of love beyond the flames of lust

I have to agree with chels below. This truly is beautiful. The spaces do the piece justice, I must say. I love how you started it and how you ended it. Truly amazing. (:

every1's having the same spacing problem. you need to select all, then backspace each line to where you want it. very tedious...

This is absolutely wonderful, Friend. i can really feel how it feels to be a man, to treasure the breast like Adam treasured Eve in fables of old. You've allowed a woman to look through a man's eyes at what being female can mean. What a treasure. i'm an old fashioned person but i've often wished i could somehow find a non~graphic way to express what it means to be impaled by the male organ...there is a feeling like no other that cannot be captured in words... to be that complete, to be that whole is un~utterable. This urges me to work on that. Wonderfully done.

I thank you for leaving me some of the best feedback ever and yes this work was suppose to show that just because men are all about T n A doesn't mean there isn't love there it's just in our nature to be drawn to a woman's beauty. Lusting after your love like Robyn said is one of the most wonderful things mankind has to live for.

  • A former member wrote: "I pick my jaw up off the ground" loved that line and all the spectacular imagery in this.

The large spaces may actually add to the piece to accentuate the long spaces during a long relationship which aren't always exciting. Lusting after your life partner is way more satisfying than lusting after phantoms. Beautiful as always - XXOO Scholar
