This is it . The last of it.
I'm finally going to pick my
heart up off the ground, retrieve
my senses from yesterday.
It was amazing. I don't regret you
or the wasted
time, anymore.
No more 13/11, its over.
Shutting
that door now. Broken
promises mended now, I forgive you.
With smiles,I'm glad you loved me like you did.
Lesson
learnt, I won't get burnt again.
You were beauty I admired, still
do.
But I didn't love hard enough, forgive me too?
Didn't
mean to leave you when
it was dark. I had no choice, you hit
the lights. I couldn't see your pain.
But wait, I'm
letting go of 13/11, right?
You're happy and now I'm
better. Not happy
or sad, just better than how you left me.
You will be fine and so will I.
You have changed and
so have I.
Goodbye 13/11.
I loved you, but now
I'm just tired and wiser

This was a very tender piece. Being able to forgive, especially in a peaceful split, is always a major spirit lifter.. there's nothing worse than ending on a bad note and everything horridly falling apart further. As mentioned, forgiveness is a virtue worth more than it's weight in gold, silver and platinum.
