Forsaken Dear

By TheDarkOwl

You spread your wings to fly away
And the dreams, there’s so much to say
But with the wind, we went our separate ways
Too dark and forceful, I took a path- to that place

And .. “Dream is Destiny..”
In the end we’ll know

You took my pills, traded your life with death
I should have done the same, embrace kismet
But I took a pen and it pounds my brain
(I drew in life what’s hard to decipher) It made me insane

By your side, she rests with the light
I’ve got nothing (on her) to fight
All the luckiest people in the sky
you died, she had to cry

All these hidden messages, you see or find
You’re ambiguous, thoughts sway in your mind
Truth is obvious but our nature’s to hide
Unknown care, you went to the other side

Hurt can’t just fade, you chose to spread your wings
To set free, you accepted and flew away
All the luckiest people in the sky
You died, someone had to wave goodbye.
