Ichor Falls and Skies of Grey
By lupus tenebrae
My liquid sorrow,
a once sad funeral
song,
dismissed crying eyes.
Ichor falls and skies of grey,
like crumpled leaflets tumbling.
Livid lack luster,
penning
crimson messages,
into nameless suicide.
Tragic twilit fading
light
searches for a savior.
A hollow anger
laughs
at survival values,
and the cruelty of time.
November daybreak
shines on
wrought upon these lifeless hands.
Dying dream’s
grand scheme;
an hour less than zero
spent watching leaves fall.
Nil of inspiration’s life,
a mockery of somber days.

Quite deep and sort of twisty; I like that.

The title was enough for me. Don't say "never" - I frequently go back and re-write something I value, and cringe in the process, but our skills do change over time (hopefully) and it is reborn anew with vogor, cheers!
