Bloodrose Garden ~ (with Lilith Rose)

in the garden along the path we walked as the breeze

rode upon soft sighs and silent whispers played with

innocent smiles. a rush of fevered glances under the

majestic trees while their canopy’s dance and sparkle

with emeralds green.

the leaves fall silently with each caress, each embrace
pooling at our feet only to be whisked away by the northern

breeze. as they dance upon their tattered edges shining as

silver stars within this prism of moonlight falling upon the

calm stream, cradled asleep in their rippled bed.

as i dream these dreams, the feathering wind calls our names
eternally entwined in this lovers web blessed with shimmering

tears. my visions foretold of shadows floating warm upon the

mid-summer’s night embraced within the mist, brown in my

lovers eyes, held within his heart upon this silent night in

eternity conceived within Eve’s Garden.

my Victoria, so pretty, so innocent,
and sadly, so trusting.

we made a vow to live and love forever in this
sumptuous garden, and gladly I would have followed
her into her dream, and remained all of our days…

but the demons have returned, those that possessed me
many years ago, and ordered me to take the ax that rested
by the stately oak tree, to hack an aging father and a sickly
mother, and burn down our cottage to hide my sins.

thereafter, imprisoned in the asylum and secretly tortured,
until I strangled a nurse and stole her key. and then weeks
of running…

at last, by undeserved fortune, Victoria discovered my frail
form in this very garden. like an angel of mercy, she restored
my health, and never questioned my intrusion into the elegance
of her life. of course, we fell in love.

but the demons will not allow our happiness. they will my hand,
and the unforgiving knife. blindly, I plunge the hideous weapon
into her breast, breasts that have excited and comforted me
these past glorious nights. Victoria screams, and then she screams
no more…

dear Victoria, the blood on the roses will be your legacy.

Someone there is not happy!!! Someone who loved him terribly but offered yourself to sacrifice. And someone loved with kill will. Perfect poem!!!! You can not deny who you really are.
