I'm not really sure just how I should start,
But what I hear on the radio, all those songs are in park-
They're not written with emotion, truth, love, but in the dark-
By a fat paid lyricist, without a single bit of heart-
I appreciate my people, all the things that they do-
To all my friends, fans and family, I really love all of you-
I've come so far so in little time that it really seems incredible-
To some, at first it's ugly but I've seen that life is beautiful-
Got no patience for the haters or the petty instigators-
Close my eyes to negativity, my ears to all nay-Sayers-
'Cause not a single thing they've got to plug can help at all to save us-
I hope you see I write this rap with everything I've got-
The ink I type this with, just like my blood it's boiling hot-
I've got a lot more to say, but not right now, I'll let it stew-
I want to say right quick, I dedicate this piece to all of you-
Though sometimes I am dark, inside my soul I'm not insipid-
