Disjointed, unformed, Overly Emotive
By BetaWolfinVA
With any great dreams that man has ever had, there has come a price, either
paid from out of ones soul, or in things that one has given up to get where
you are.
the thing being purchased isn't always worth the cost.
this was one of those times.
Waking up in the morning is always such a chore... rolling over, getting
up, getting in the shower, and trying to get out the door before there
is no way that you can beat the clock.
a few short hours ago, i was in a totally different place,
a deep and welcoming forest, a green so deep and dark that it embraces
you and knows your very soul,
a stream running through it,
and an auld road to trail by
tracking close to the woman that i love
...
over the hill and dale,
down through the rushing glen...
traveling along, traveling along
...
walking along through these woods you see nature as it is, the needles
and nettles beside the road often encroach on the well worn dirt, and only
rarely do man's horses pass through this part of the land
some where in this land is a woman with hair that is naturally auburn (though
it is seldom seen to be so) and worn long down to her mid back and a white
dress of olden style, her green eyes burn with a passion for learning,
music and all of the other things that make the world a wonderful place...
the white dress is nearly practical for travel, made up significantly
of lace but little frills and cut for riding
a hunter on her own, much like auld Diana or Artemis. Part of me wonders
if she ever thinks of me... or is content to be alone...
but would that i could tolerate this emptiness that my honor bought me
but would i have been able to pay the price for honor's lack?
i will find this out when and if i see her again
in my life or dreams

Nothing gets a girl as horny as a walk in the woods, from my limited experience, but then I'm kind of a throwback myself and the breeze sighing through the pines makes a sound all its own, thanks.

Funny thing is that she volunteers at an aviary in a nature preserve and is active in SCA. None of which I knew when I wrote this
