another midnight
here i am doing my duty
to one i would be free of
-
no passion, no hope
no lust, sheer empty mechanics
mind on anywhere but here

the name on my soul matches
one far away in prospects,
age and life. free of me
-
here i am trying
to maintain that which i would
rather be without
-
waiting for when my
true wife calls, although the law
sees nawt but one
-
still i remain, trapped
by myine ain devices
lonely by choice
