Lost in Moonspeak
By lupus tenebrae
Frustrations, like moonspeak,
are lost
in translation
when an atlas
turns Venn diagram.
An
intelligible sort
of phonograph
or metronome
monotony.
One appears misguided
when confronted with forks,
silverware
turned nowhere
in an instance of roulette.
Every now and
then
we rest by the sea
and every sign’s in Engrish,
so
what’s to understand?
Can we convey oblivion
or simply
fleeting dreams
to those of less observant minds?
Or are we always
misconstrued?

I agree with Natalie, interesting. I like how you turn the mundane it something akin to magic. As always you write well
