Weeping Willow

By Deathkitten

She lays beneath the weeping willow
Itchy grass
Arm for pillow
Geese fly pass
Sun god peaks from limb to limb
Gentle breeze strokes her hair
Thoughts secluded in mid-bend
She caresses herself without a care
Nature growing weak to her presence
Rose hips
Fragrant
Her timing is of great essence
Imprinting her body where she lay
In the green subtle land
Adulation rises from the warm glowing ray
Grabbing bits of earth in hand
Pulsating through & through
Weeping willow
The day is done
And though she's gone
She left a clue

-sighs lift beyond the sway of limbs.... marooning her in desire... while shadows caress her skin. it's all about the hunt... and one can't hide from the muse inside..... - it's always a pleasure being visited by the sly feline . -k

wow to let your fingers do the walkin' sounds like a plan to me. love the willow tree, though it is a bitch at the end of the summer, it sprouts so easy all over the grass.

This is good work, it evoked the memory of fragrant flowers and such.I'm glad I was not in a bad mood when I read this, otherwise I don't know if I could appreciate it.For the type of poem it is, it is perfect.(10)
