i break open my pen to feel
etching ink into thin layers of innocent trees
spilling letters that form words
only the best kind to
emotional


at this moment
my thoughts which i create
then bring to life with every mind
that thinks similarly
kickstarts a heart
beat of energy


fueling every step
sprouting every malnutritioned seed
sowing every stream of wind
stitched in the soliliqy sky
knitting clouds and painting rain
dropping in on and around
our invisible halos


i only want
what it is we need
and that is to embrace
this life
and every other
seen with visible eyes
and with faiths eyes


laying the foundation
of grace grouted stones
set in starskin


is honesty worth more
than the power of time


i cant say
for sure
i can hope
to be pure


being
a lightning
particle cure


instead
of being
a face
growing
obscure


together combined
we deserve happiness and solace
balancing the scales
weighing the love and darkness in a sentence


waiting
for death
