Heroins Bliss

By Fallenfromgrace

I set the stage, based off rage
my tears are hot, like boiling water in a pot.
I feel all alone in my sorrow
with no hope for tomorrow.
Another died from heroins bliss,
the pin-prick of the needle,
the final kiss.
Now her kids are confused,
mama's mad
unkown identities of babies dads.
A drug so alluring, so suducing,
with her not knowing she was only inducing
her grave to come much too fast,
but in her mind was only memories of the past.
Abandonment scars the heart too deep,
leaving her alone on wobbly feet.
Heroin was the cure,
for the pain she could not endure.
Her last love affair left her babies
alone and scared.
So rest in peace, my sister, my love,
and watch us all from up above.
I can not push the blame,
for I too chose drugs as a way to gain,
freedom from my demons.
Though thru you I found my freedom,
from heroins bliss.
