Elysium.

By Dreamless

A blanket of what appears
To be a vast, snow-covered plain
Cracks open; Spilling forth Heavens
Exposing brilliant diamonds
Strewn across a black satin paradise
Begging me to crawl inside
Into the celestial wonderland
Gleaming stars reaching out
Filling my eyes with ethereal elegance
Until the clouds slaughter and reclaim the night
Devouring the astral divinity
Crushing everything that was
For that brief time...
An escape into Elysium.
