Star Drama

By Sean Mc Shane

My Spirit was already locked in on Saturn Girl
following her thru a fading rift in a universal swirl
in the late moments of an early solar burning
under the Twilight Sea her world was turning
thru tormented visions of how it came to be
and the tragic death of the interdemensional me

Saturn Girl was everything to the Unknown Other
bloodlust prayers to the Atomic Mother
starscapes fading into the fires of Avalon
Comet tail crystals no longer travel on . . .

Behind the black curtain of a 1000 sunsets
we journey to the Underground Moon
Cults of the Serpent Youth will come
dropping seeds in the Wombs of Doom

infinite death to the Secret Bell of Silence
saved by a telepathic broadcast in Midnight's wake
tear down their sacred halls of mystic science
until another Supernova is ready to take

Obsidian souls that slither thru Astral Temples
trapped in organic prisons - no silver-winged flight
then, over the Black Ice Hills of Neptune's Rise
comes a Steampunk Witch and a Cosmic Knight

in alliance with myself and a bloodoath to Saturn Girl

We all moved in thru sonic vibrations from a Black Center

Stellar quadrants fall into the Void's depths

as a distant radio signal seized the final Quasar's center  . . .

Much enjoyed this journey into the Outer Limits and still pondering some of the protagonists, always a trip and find a lead shield for that kryptonite! Cheers.
