. . feigning . .
By NikesRain
devistating
this waiting
minutes crawling
clawing with hands
shaped
from shadows
glancing caressses
brushing yesterday
hovering over
a heart
devouring thoughts
infecting dreams
to where there's nothing
but
you and that touch
that invisible grasp
that tints
each gasp
that consumes every nerve
tied in intrinsic
knots
not meant for breaking
bound and held
caged in promises
with a key bent and aching
tears slipping
inside a smile
screaming for release
some ease to the torture
curled and fallen
crushed beneath each breath
everything is fine
nod
smile
and the minutes crawling
