Endless destruction "Shadow Poetry"

By gearhead

Sleeping in a world, filled with hate

I find my self, in an endless place

Desolate lands, scorched by flame

Nothing is left, to ease the pain

The skies lye dark, filled with smoke

The world is drowning, with no hope

The endless destruction, massacre of our fate

Sooner or later, it will be to late

We must stop this now

Or live in fear.

That the end of the world.

Is almost here.

Poetically stated, well written and an ugly truth in most of our minds. Thanks for the recommendation ;) - XXOO Scholar

The end of the world might be here, or it may just change so drastically that the world we know will have ended.Eventually the world ends for everyone, and today's world is never exactly the same as yesterday, but besides the useless debate about that, I think this poem is very good, filled with darkly vivid imagery and a sinister tone.As a work of art, it is a masterpiece.
