in.dreams

By SilentStalker

The light
[clicks]
--in tandem--
With the -tick- of the clock.

All alone [again]
this stormy night,
save the remnants
of her indigo words
as I switched off the phone

And if my feet could walk
as fast as my heart
beating for her,
I swear I could make it there
on adrenaline.alone

Satin-turned-flesh
When I close my eyes
And hold her near

And likeĀ  midnight-daydreaming
I --imagine--
Just how it could be.

minutes.become.hours
hours.become ~eternity~

And I'm
..lost..
In.the.rhythm of the rain.

"If my feet could walk as fast as my heart is beating" Very clever line. Powerful read to say the least.

This sounds something similar to what I just went through. Truly gorgeous wording Darun. So sensual. Such silky mental bliss. Beautiful. Can't say anymore than what's already been said by others.

In one of my poems I wrote about slipping in between one's thoughts and tasting one's soul. I feel like that's what I did here with you...it was soft, it was vulnerable, it was beautiful, it was melancholy. I love your words Darun.
