Swallowing Occam's Razor

By Malice In Wonderland

the moon is crimson tonight
streaming silent shadows
drifting through clouded constellations
a ruby among the.mists

we
wander through the haze
unguarded
feeling blindly
stumbling throughout hazy desert desolation

we spiral
aimless and terrified
we can only
hope for
a light.in the darkness

anything
signaling a beacon for.home
we grasp
open handed and eager
we
hesitant and wounded
reach out with broken arms
and fractured fingers
grasping for threads of hope.

and the nature of.humanity
is
only bliss
and freewill

mixed in with impulse

I want to hope
so badly
that this melody flooding my.mind is.something more
than the sound.of my.heartstrings
plucked in curiosity again.

seeing as
everytime I build the strength to leave this carapace.
I find.it.emtombed in stone...

Every shellfish has to molt as it grows, much enjoyed this semi-Apocalyptic piece with a personal twist. William of Occam said it best perhaps: "the simplest solution to any complex problem, is usually the best one" (paraphrased). Cheers!
