Luminescent, Painted White

By lupus tenebrae

Lines of men are painted white,
mortals, drawn in monochrome,
luminescent in the night.

Silhouettes and snowy sights
mesh like perfect metronomes,
lines of men are painted white.

Spangled in a starry light,
buried in their winter loam,
luminescent in the night.

Purple hearts are blue, despite
the accolades returning home,
lines of men are painted white.

Anthems of a dying rite
of passage, glow in every tome,
luminescent in the night.

Eyes are met with fire, bright
and ashes where thy neighbours roam,
lines of men are painted white,
luminescent in the night.

A bit early for me to post, but I figured on sharing this one. Sorry for the random use of Old English here and there, I tried to sound imposing.
