Your Words Pass Through Me

By asailorsangel

Your words passed through
Me like shards of glass
Cutting through my soul
And piercing my heart

I compare the dialogue to getting
Burnt with a cigarette you feel
It but don't realize the pain
Until the skin is scorched

You're a coward in my
Eyes So weak
To easily fall
Back into a world built
On lies and deceit
Live in a world of skating
By you think that it's easier
Than where you
Are?

You once told me
You were going to
Leave that life behind
To become a better
Person

You run from the love
You hide from passion
You live in fear of
What you could
Be!

Do you think that
Is being a
Man?
