Fate

By Rebel_Angel

This wasn't exactly what I had I had in mind when I started this poem but this is what it ended up to be. I think it still needs some works so if you have comments on how to fix it let me know. I just threw somethings together and I don't think it flows very good.

They say things happen for a reason,
But do you ever wonder what that is?
Why things can't go your way for a while,
Or why everything bad happens at once.
You would think it would be more balanced,
Some good things then some bad.
Not all bad for what seems like forever,
Then one good thing.
They say everyone has a soul mate,
But then again if they do then why do some people die alone?
Your not suppose to choose who you fall in love with,
Then how come people get divorces,
Aren't they messing with fate?
They say don't smoke you will die sooner,
Well maybe you get killed in a car crash?
That had nothing to do with smoking.
It could have been your fate.
How come we can't know our fate?
Wouldn't that make life a lot easier?

I am glad you chose to write about this topic, but remember Life isn't about the end result, it's about the trip along the way. -Kryz

completely agree with kryz...its not the end that matters...its what u do with the time you have...like u said u could die in a car accident. so live every day to its fullest.

I'm not much for fate. I believe we make out own but you do have some good ideas though... Maybe try adding more to make it smoother.

This kinda seems like someone's last thoughts. Almost what someone would think after getting shot... I don't know why but it gave me that picture in my mind. I enjoyed reading this. Keep it up.

The people that know there fate, know it becouse it is there fate to know it. They act in a certain way after knowing there fate wish is then there fate. I love fate all the way to extremes. Same way goes with this poem.
