Quaerentes Ruinam Animorum

By alesana

Stranded - shaking and weeping - alone in the dust
The touch of something dark, something far beyond
Risen to the sky, fallen from the light
The Morning Star descending, carried to the flames
Plays vicious neverending games of dice and soul
Crouching in the shadows, lurking in the shade
Longing for a light which creator had forbade
If truth be handed over then lead me to the door
Bound in chains of longing do I here die once more
Here a single shadow standing goes unnoticed in the sun
Yet one lonely candle pierces the dark in which we burn
Revolt, revolt - and set the slaves all free
I'll stay here in the blackness
If you'll remember me.

Marvelous and profoundly proposed in a spiritual sense of wonderment. This was so well done and don't make us wait so long! Cheers.
