Just for a moment
Just so you could tell me it’s alright
Your hazel eyes so bright
Here I am staying awake
Hoping you will come
Knowing you can’t
Craving to be numb

feel the burning need for a gun

Too many things wrong with me
I’ve lost my humanity
Surrendered my soul to the hell I know awaits
Looking to the mirror
Don’t see who I was looking back
A shell remains
A solitary shard of who I was hanging on
Just enough to give me the strength
To pull the trig…
