Sandman's Stars

By lupus tenebrae

Courage sees stars, with
one specific triangle,
two pieces remain.

Tower and ascent,
home of Doctor Depression,
who will make us weep,

Nostalgia, unnamed,
and Picasso’s grin, sextupled
at the lessons learned.

The sandman came, went,
absconded with every dream,
may we sleep again?
