. . shut.out . .

By NikesRain

silk cloth

faded and left

draped with absence

sometimes the sun
is more harsh in silence

quiet crushes

with a weight of breaking

falling like tears

this room is deafening
a fitting tomb for dust

for things too soft

for me

for now
