Nicholson faceless

By King_Crazy_Dave

I'm a dull boy,
over the cuckoos nest
a Joker who can smell rats.

though senseless may it seem
I'm acting so serene.

Nicholson faceless
I do not overact
I feel the pulse of a circus accident
my visage is still intact
in fact,

I look emotionless.

redundantly chiming
like a Jack in the box.

this piece made me think of when Alfred tells a story to Bruce about some bandit who robbed precious gems & that Alfred saw a kid with a ruby or something the next day. "Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn."

Simple and colorfully precise, with equal amounts of abstraction and metaphoric qualities.Good work.

Never a JN fan and I read "The Shining" so never bothered with the flick. Still pondering the circus accident, were you born to carneys maybe? (HA)! Cheers to you.
