I met my mom at arbys

By King_Crazy_Dave

she got a grilled-
i was reading her shirt
and cheese
and her hair smelled like
purple hairspray
and it made me remember
and she paid in change
and it made me remember

Something about this turned my stomach as well. It made me think of broken families and small towns and tornadoes and weeping in bathroom stalls. Now that I say that, I'm reminded of the movie Gummo (a screwed up indie flick with disturbing storylines and spanish metal). I am simultaneously intrigued and off put by the stream of feelings and images this evoked. Interesting work. Thank you for sharing.

These are the things my memories are made of as well, especially those of my mother when I was young. It seems that in my growing my brain has blocked what little I could remember, though it seems that the most odd occurances remind me of that which is best left forgotten. Here's to a partial past - Cheers.

I remember such things. Random little bits. Puzzlers. And sentimentals even when I've remembered them "not to be sentiment". I really enjoyed how this played out, trailing off in my head at the end. Nice.
