Tenant les saintes

By Corinthian

+

words
and lights
always
shining & spinning
in my head
and I can never
close my eyes
I can never remember the wandering Jew
In the cold.
In sleep.
screams
and lights
in the darkness+
when the dead comes
with yesterdays bells
for me
I must go

however
quiet .

and your angels
will be jealous
glowering
while dead ladies
dance spinning
black petals
in my resting
place

I will leave
no memories
please burn
after you read this.

Hugs to you sweetie..... I would never burn your words no matter how deeply heart-wrenching they are..... This shimmers and permeates the imagination, the beauty of pain.

Recommend you read "A letter From Brooklyn" by Caribbean poet laureate Derek Walcott. It's aways a comfort to me in such times as you portray, thaks.
