Lourdes

straying
angel

slayer
of my child .
an unholy
bible ghost

blessed with
old water and
locked in a hole

lonely and late
scribbling prayers
across my
pale forehead

powdered
tragedy
a lonely madonele

I burn.

white
blood
& phantom fluff

blue wax
and baby saint

screaming
whispers
and
fog carols
into your lungs

catch
me

catch me
satan

a lost mother.

charmed
crushed
and broken
walking
through
crucified
flowers
and
angel bones

sleep
swallowing
ashes of prism

unawake
unawake
on
shimmering steeple
dust
alone am I

I am alone

under glass
and lace

*

wearing the
white arms of Mary

In the

palace
of Christ
and Vampire
I want to twirl your beautiful hair around my finger and never wake up ... again + .

A mother's lament for her lost child perhaps, or something about the sainted one? Not sure but grief and resignation seemed to predominate, cheers.
