Take Me With You

By Polaris

Staring into the sky
A pulsing light
Two gee deceleration
Hydraulics hissing
The advanced advancing
Studying
An innocent gesture
Beckoning
I belong out there
Take me with you
To leave it all behind
One last time
Take me with you
Traveling to Ursa Major
Helix and Cepheus
Proxima Centauri and Vega
Bound for Zeta Reticuli
Even if for only a moment
My time here has expired
Take me with you
An uncertain future
No hesitation
Take me with you

Blast OFF! Let's go into the wild blue yonder (and beyond). Too bad O discontinued the space program. This was great, thanks and book me for the next flight to Betelguese, cheers!
