Willing to Follow

By Sean Mc Shane

That night Our world was torn asunder
when She told me in a dream that it was real . . .

. . .  and then She slid under

She said " if you don't believe
then it was all just a myth,
that is the only reason
you cannot come with "

As I reached for Her hand
something kept me at bay
The Phantoms of Love
always get their way

She wandered into the shadows
buried Her heart in a hole
set fire to Her dream
then released Her soul

She took Her own life
She considered me not . . .

So I did the same
Now in Love we rot . . .
