. . don't move . .

By NikesRain

a pin drops

angels weep

demons sigh

the air breaks

thick with silence

fires dwindle

fast fading coals

the world turns

oblivious

just another day

gone in 24 hours

another pin falls

everyone hears it

no one moves

to pick it up

Mystical Spirit, 'another day gone in 24 hours', a thing that's happened how many millions of times?...yet so mesmerizing when seen here.

I like the way you used subtle innuendo and ended with apathy. Clever. Sometimes the most profound things are said in a whisper.
