Mosaic Nothing

By serenesavage91

Does your world bleed this kind of color?
When your sun never rises,
and the moon is but a dream?
Have you kissed a monsoon,
In day breaks subtle waning,
Red leaves crumble mosaic,
On earths welcome canvas,
Grey skies of daylight,
Sunbursts springing through,
Prismatic dancing glow.

Holding hands delighted,
kissing just beneath,
the fatal sword of damocles
in the mosaic painting of nothing.

Bright vibrant shades,
of humanitys crippled sprites.
Distant satellites,
Dark and lonely nights,
A dying mosaic painting,
Of what is only nothing.

So bleak for such poetry, well done. (Oh, please put an "s" on Damocles). The sword hung before the kings throne by a horsehair - good one, thanks!

You've painted beautiful images and the flow of your structure made this work all the more alluring. Well done.
