Every Man is Beautiful

By freudian-slip

His reaching
lingers

and to my distraction
his hands catch my eye

distant from him
a stranger
and stuck inside my thoughts

how his simple fingers

are beautifully long

and strong in appearance

it's fast...
how I'm slipping into the realization

that sometimes I can't help the way I think

and then he comes by

sinking his longest legs
into the ground as he walks
wtih strength and purpose

and how I can almost feel his thighs pushing me
into the wall
with every thrust

yet
as I look  above

a smile
surely a mile wide
with teeth so inviting
His soul shines right off of them

and now I see my lips slide against his skin
as my legs shake
with each pressing of his tongue

it's like I can envision the sound his voice makes
in my neck
when he takes his last deep breath
before he sleeps

and there is no mistaking
I love a man
for all he is

in pieces
and in parts

flesh and bone

light or dark

thin or thick

soft or hard

real or fake

timid or bold

gentle or rough

in my thoughts

or maybe to hold
