Glen Miller

By The Guardian Angel

Drums start beating to a rhythm in your heart
A gallop from the synchronization of B flats and E majors.
Your on your feet then, swinging to the blare of the bones pitched cry
While your hands shake to the wail of the reeds.

The heartbeat slows to a graceful serenade,
and a lone voice cries out, mournful of its solitude.
"Moonglow, that led me straight to you,
and now where there is Moonglow, there sings the blues."

An oldy tune, played from a vintage radio,
A haunting yet homey relaxed song.
A momento of used to be,
An era long forgotten by modern society.

A sudden jerk, a suprised leap.
As the pace quickens, a frantic rush to nowhere.
Yet you wanna slow down to enjoy the journey,
Going through and just Sing Sing Sing....

In my last comment, I meant unusual subject matter for DP.
