Comes the end

All those plans we had will never find life
Those dreams we dreamt
will not draw breath
My garden's left to anothers hand
No daffodils
will bloom next spring
This house is not my home
A clean
start
A blank page
The fear of new beginnings
So much
less
Than the hurt of staying put
I thought we had forever
I thought we had love
Tears only from laughter
Not heartache
I fought to save this
But some mountains are too high to
climb
Oceans too vast to swim
Some wrongs can never be made
right
I cant go on pretending I can love you past this
You
took my kindness and made me lonely
You took my trust and ran to
anothers bed
So don't play the victim
You had what you wanted
But you can't have it all
Your family or solitude
Your wife
or your lover
So I'll make new plans
Make a new home
I'll grow
And I'll love
Sometimes I'll fail
But I will
fight all the harder
Because I'm choosing this life
I deserve
better than this
