I Am Soldier

By Malcholm Dark

My eyes are cast upon the opposing force here before me...
I am embittered.

My mind senses the fate of the eminent storm around me...
I am defiant.

My soul has darkened by those I have left dead behind me...
I am born again hard.

My anxiety gives way to the war which has engulfed me...
I am intrepid.

My heart is aroused at that moment when battle becomes me...
I am unforgiven.

And within the precipice of that moment...
the sun shall rise upon my oblivion and the rest of my days.
.
.
.
I am soldier!

You are Warrior, a Soldier goes to war because he thinks there is no other option, and detests battle and bloodshed, a Warrior goes to war because he knows there is no alternative, h revels in it, he enjoys his deadly work, because he is BAttle Born, and fire burned inside of him. Scholar

Yes, and one could only hope that such resolve brings them back to greener pastures. A good fight is a battle won, another fine tribute my friend. Scholar
