Depression II

By ColorMeToxic

What a dreary day
a black cloud forms over me
so begins the rain

 ~~~
many  weeks later
what a mighty cloud it is
I am soaking wet
~~~

sometimes when it rains
it only rains a little
and sometimes it stays

~~~
but then the sun comes
and pushes the cloud away
and I smile once more
    I have a certain affinity for haiku, and something just seems right about its union with rain. It's natural, it's melancholic, sadness just seems beautiful in such a venue, like looking through a prism. Definitely deserves a closer look, thanks for the view. Scholar
    beth, you should learn to love the rain because when your depressed no one can see your tears and you blend in perfectly with the mood of the sky. as long as you dont dwell in it and you realize the sun will shine again, you can find happiness in the rain. works for me!very nice!
