Death in E minor (reflections on brainwave entrainment)

By Frater Synth

Thoughts lost,
hidden beneath fear and worry.

The cord sets in motion,
vibrations to the inner soul.

Depression.

spouting forward in an explosion,
of confused  cognitation.

Anxity.

Devouring  liveliness,
just as Fire consumes worldliness .

I like the word play with E minor and cord, even if it isn't spelled like the musical chord. I feel as though there is a warning in this poem that if we are not careful, as we have to be with fire, anxiety and depression will be our death.

Yea its kinda short but you picked up on my point. what I'm really trying to convey is basically don't let these negative thoughts consume you cause it could lead deeper down the rabbit hole. and as with fire there are some things that can be repaired but other things are lost forever in the flames. I probably could have done a better job with this but my mind isn't fully there today :)

Love your mind is never completely there and that's one of the reasons I love you...negativity in small doses can be good because without the bad there cant be an appreciation for the good, but you are right too much of it will always be a downfall

well yea anything can be good in moderation. Hate and Anger also fall into this spectrum of brain function. Fire here is just symbolic of all negativity that we may allow our lives to be consumed by and further lead down that path to self destruction. I know I didn't really get my full thoughts out here because I been so fucked in the head but what I really want to convey to people is we need to stop with the whole What If type of negative thinking and be a little less critical of ourselves because we our our own worst critics.
