Slither

By Virgils Vigil

Deep and alive,
Seething inside
What I cannot hide,
With the world, collide.
I must decide,
To turn the tide
Of ocean, maelstrom, wash aside.
Let it never, or my soul hast died.
Corruption may you be my drive.
May my chaos not subside.
Deep and alive
Slithering around inside

I like the way you combined the ocean with a darkness, somehow not fully explained and brought to light. Gives it a mystery, more than the ocean already holds. Ocean and darkness, with those two subjects, who can go wrong? Great write!
