Today was your birthday,
You are now 29,
So we stopped by to
see you,
Just my father and I,
I haven't saw you in so long,
And didn't really want to go,
But I knew I had to,
There's
so many things you should know,
Dad didn't stay long,
But I sure
did,
There was so much to talk about,
You know,
You really
are missed,
I told you about my life now,
How different things
are,
I gave you the news about me soon starting college,
You'd
be happy,
I know you are,
I talked about my family,
The
good and the bad,
I told you about my little one,
The baby girl
I'm soon to have,
How I wish she could meet you,
You were always
so good with me,
I know she would've loved you,
You were very
motherly,
Though you had no children of your own,
I wish I could've
stayed longer,
I miss you so much,
But I couldn't,
I needed
to go home,
So I picked myself up,
From where I was sitting on
the ground,
With tears in my eyes,
I set the rose I bought for
you,
On your grave,
I whisper my goodbye,
And promise to
come visit again soon,
I love you stepmother,
Happy birthday
to you,
