Christ and my Lord

God can see you
He knows what you're doing
If you are bad
You go to hell
Good?
It's heaven for you
Do this and do that
And make sure you don't sin
Be fair and be just
Go to church

SEX?
Don't you do it
You know what you'll get
A million lifetimes
Of hell
And damnation
It seems the only right thing
You can do is to die
But be sure that you are
Baptized first
OR
you know what will happen



So, what about those of us
Who don't believe a word of it
What about those of us
Who live another creed
What about
"An harm none, do what thou wilt"?
And for that we are condemned
Our children condemned
For that, their God is
Pushed at us
Shoved in our faces
Do any of us go to their house?
Knock on their door?
Tell them our way
Is the only way?
NO
And we never will
If you choose to walk an open field
And wonder at the splendor of it
You have just praised my God
If you pass a waterfall
And revel in it's majesty
You just worshiped my Goddess
If you stop to smell the flowers
You have admired my Lady's work
If you wake up to the sun
And thank God for a beautiful day
You have just prayed to my Lord

So I will thank you to leave me alone
As I will you
