I was so baked and couldn't see
He ran right out in front of me.
I swear I heard a frightful splat
And I knew, I had crushed him flat.

There's nothing less problematic
When you are lying flat and still.
And nothing more aromatic
Than the putrid stench of road kill.

Now throw and watch it float through air.
All the people will stop and stare
To see a Frisbee topped with hair.

It could be the dreaded fruit bat
And yes, a deadly ring-tailed cat.
Or maybe just a cowboy hat
So speed it up and run'em flat.

Reminds me of the time I saw a deer get absolutely obliterated, just a cloud of fur left where it was standing. I'm repulsed and fascinated by this all the same, much like a graphic car accident. Perfect tribute to the national pastime of West Virginia haha. Write on my friend.
